1. General information
- The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam (MOET) has authorized HUCE to implement a program to train undergraduate students majoring in Physics with advanced curriculum and standard of the University of Virginia, USA. Professors from prestigious universities are invited to give lectures and English is used as a teaching medium. Students have good opportunities to approach modern experimental equipments during their training process.
- Up to now, seven batches have been carrying out and nearly 100% graduated students have found good jobs or continued their study in foreign prestigious universities. At present, six students are participating in doctoral degree program at University of Virginia, USA and there are four postgraduate students in Japan, two in Korea, six in Taiwan, one in Italy and one in Belgium. In addition, three students become lecturers of HUCE, five students work for a Japanese company in Ho Chi Minh City, two students work for Physics Institute.
2. Qualification: Physics bachelor’s degree for the advanced program
3. Quota of Admission: 30 students
4. Admission
- Students belonging to mode A (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) who finish upper secondary high school level with high record in the annual national university entrance exam and have been admitted to a university.
- Admission profiles must include relevant supporting papers as stipulated by Hue University.
5. Time for issuing and admitting application
Every year from August 15th to September 15th, Office for Students’ Affairs of HUCE is responsible for issuing and admitting applications.
