At the meeting, Dr. Le Ho Son delivered a welcoming remark and expressed his sincere thanks to Prof. Nguyen Luu Lan Anh for taking the time to visit and work with the University, especially for engaging in academic exchanges that help lecturers and students access new scientific knowledge, thereby contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning. The Rector expressed his hope that cooperation between the two institutions would continue to develop in the coming time.

Prof. Nguyen Luu Lan Anh shared her deep appreciation for the warm hospitality of the University and for the favorable conditions provided to ensure that activities within the joint program between the two institutions could take place smoothly and effectively. The Institute of Intercultural Educational Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary), highly values this cooperation. On that basis, the Professor expressed her hope that both sides would strengthen cooperation in master’s and doctoral training programs in the future.

In June 2024, the University of Education, Hue University and the Institute of Intercultural Educational Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) signed a MoU on training cooperation, covering the following areas: exchange of staff, lecturers, and students; research collaboration; organization of summer schools; co-organization of conferences, workshops, and training programs, as well as other forms of cooperation. Many lecturers and students of the University have participated in exchange programs under this cooperation. Currently, one doctoral candidate from Hungary is taking part in an exchange and conducting scientific research at HUEdu under the support and supervision of lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology and Education, the Faculty of Primary Education, and the Faculty of Early Childhood Education.

Immediately after the working session, Prof. Nguyen Luu Lan Anh delivered a talk to the University’s lecturers and students on “Intercultural Competence for Primary School and Early Childhood Teachers.” Beyond being an academic exchange, the seminar provided concrete and valuable career orientations for students, especially:

✅ For Primary and Early Childhood Education major
In the context of borderless education, teachers need more than subject-matter expertise. The topic helped students develop an open educational mindset, as well as skills for understanding and connecting with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. This serves as an important foundation for future teachers to confidently teach in international and advanced educational environments.

✅ For Educational Psychology major
Students were introduced to fresh perspectives on school psychology in a globalized context. Knowledge about cultural intersections enhances empathy, thereby enabling the development of the most effective psychological support methods for children and families in multicultural settings.

The seminar contributed to realizing the goal of training teachers and psychological specialists with broad vision, ready to adapt to the changes of modern education.
