The 5th International Conference on Language, Society, and Culture in Asian Contexts - LSCAC 2018
In the two days of May 25 and 26, 2018, University of Education, Hue University in collaboration with Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia; Hyderabad University, India, and Mahasarakham University, Thailand successfully organized the 5th International Conference on Language, Society, and Culture in Asian Contexts - LSCAC 2018 with the theme Inclusiveness and Sustainability of Asian Societies.
Participated in the conferences were Mr. Nguyen Van Cao – Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee, Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung – Vice President of Hue University; the University’s Board of Rectors, leaders of the Faculties, Offices, Centres, Institutes; and nearly 100 international participants came from 12 countries, and 160 national participants.
Following the success of 4 previous conferences organized at Indonesia, India, and Thailand, LSCAC 2018 was organized with the purpose of creating an international forum to discuss and analyze dimensions, factors affecting the development of Asian societies in particular and the world in general.
Among 120 papers of the conference, 80 papers were selected to present in 25 sessions; more than 40 papers were presented in the form of poster presentation in various topics such as: Social Structure of Asian Societies; Cultural and Linguistic dimensions; Globalization and ingenious communities in Asian context; Modern philosophical trends; Religion and modern Asian societies; Modern Asian Literatures; Education in Asia; Technology enabled Pedagogy; Economies of Asian Countries; Bi-lateral and Multi-lateral relations among Asian Countries; Future of Asia; Environment and Population in Asia; Climate change in Asia; Asia and its integration process; Foreign Language Teaching in Asian Context; Tourism in Asia; The process of urbanization and industrialization in Southeast Asia; History of Southeast Asian
Keynote speakers of the conferences were professors coming from famous universities in the USA, India, Indonesia,… with talks on Locating Our Common Humanity through Expressive Writing; Dialogic Construction of Blissfulness and Pedagogic Question of Properness: Swearing while Gaming and ASEAN and India Academic Collaboration: Prospects and challenges.
After 05 series of conferences, LSCAC has become an international forum for researchers, educators, managers to meet and exchange views, introduce their research work, and ideas in the field of social sciences.

Hue University of Education receive SEMEO School’s Network certificate
On October 2020, Hue University of Education was proud to receive SEAMEO School’s Network certificate in recognition for the University active contribution and participation in that regional network. The University was among the first 5 universities of Vietnam to get the certificate which will provide it with the opportunities to participate in various activities on capacity development and innovative educational programmes.

Hue University of Education organized opening ceremony of a new academic year On September 19, 2019, Hue University of Education jubilantly held the opening ceremony for 2019-2020 academic year and welcomed 617 freshmen. This is also the occasion for the University lecturers and students to look back the past academic year with lots of contributions and efforts; and prepare for the new academic year ahead.

University of Education, Hue University celebrates 10th anniversary of joint training program with National Institute of Applied Sciences Centre Val de Loire, France (INSA Center Val de Loire) On the morning of March 20, University of Education, Hue University, the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Val de Loire (INSA Centre Val de Loire), the Organization of Rencontres du Vietnam (‘Meeting Vietnam’) and the French Institute in Hue celebrated the 10th anniversary of the joint training program with INSA Val de Loire Engineer.

Promote cooperation with Hokkaido University of Education, Japan In the morning on October 24, a group of delegations from Hokkaido University of Education, Japan, Prof. Yoshiki Yokoyama - Deputy Director of Hokkaido University of Education, led the delegations to visit and work with University of Education, Hue University.
