University of Education, Hue University celebrates 10th anniversary of joint training program with National Institute of Applied Sciences Centre Val de Loire, France (INSA Center Val de Loire)
On the morning of March 20, University of Education, Hue University, the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Val de Loire (INSA Centre Val de Loire), the Organization of Rencontres du Vietnam (‘Meeting Vietnam’) and the French Institute in Hue celebrated the 10th anniversary of the joint training program with INSA Val de Loire Engineer.
The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thai Son - Head of Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, Mr. Etienne Rolland Piegue, Counselor of Cooperation and Cultural Activities of the Embassy of France in Vietnam; Ms. Do Thi Xuan Dung – Vice President of Hue University, Prof. Jean-Marie Castelain – Director of INSA Centre Val de Loire; Representative of Rencontres du Vietnam; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Phuong – Rector and representatives of Departments, Faculties, Institute, Centre, lecturers and students of the University.

University of Education, Hue University has started since 2007 a cooperative training program with INSA Centre Val de Loire, which was established by Prof. Tran Thanh Van, Chairman of the Science and Education Organization Rencontres du Vietnam. For its remarkable results, the program has been developed, since 2009, into a joint training program, in which students study at University of Education, Hue University, in the first 2 years and continue studying in France in the next 3 years.

The achievements of the training program over the past 10 years have been the high quality human resources for Vietnam and the world. In this program, lecturers are able to improve their teaching and researching competency, and have access to one of the world's best teaching programs. The program model of Val de Loire is also replicated in other international programs applied in the institution.

On this occasion, there was also an signing ceremony on agreement of opening the INSA Val de Loire Office at University of Education, Hue University and on sponsorship agreement of Rencontres du Vietnam for the INSA Val de Loire program at University of Education, Hue University.
On EducPros website, the monthly biology training website of Étudiant University, a well-known French newspaper published an article about INSA Centre Val de Loire opening a branch in Hue city, an overview of the achievements about 10 years of cooperation from 2009 to 2019 between INSA Centre Val de Loire and University of Education, Hue University recently.
According to EducPros, with the recognition of the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, this event is an effective demonstration of the strategy of developing international relations between France and Vietnam in particular and Asia in general.
On this occasion, Director of Hue University awarded certificates of merit to 6 individuals; The Rector of the University rewarded 5 individuals for their contributions to the development of the program and 2 typical students of the program are also rewarded.
International School on Computational Commutative Algebra Taking place from March 20 to 25, 2023, 2023 International School on Computational Commutative Algebra - COCOA 2023 hosted by the University of Education, Hue University attracted the participation of experts, young researchers and students from the UK, USA, Italy, Thailand, Sweden and Vietnam.
