Launching ceremony of the series “Accompanying with online education”
In the morning of September 23, Hue University of Education organized launching ceremony of the series “Accompanying with online education”. The series will be livestreamed on the University’s fanpage http://www.facebook.com/dhsphue
Participating in the ceremony were Mr. Dang Phuoc My – Deputy Director of Thua Thien Hue DOET, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Anh Phuong – Rector of HUEdu and the University’s lecturers, staff, students and especially, the teachers, students of the 10 provinces in the Central Coastal Region who are watching via the University’s fanpage.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Anh Phuong – Rector of HUEdu initiated the idea of organizing the series to support school teachers in using and integrating software and applicationsin online teaching effectively, meeting the renovation requirements of the New General Education Curriculum.
In the time when Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing in an unpredictable trajectory, the educational sector has shifted from face-to-face education to online education to ensure the safety of the whole community, make sure that students do not go to school but do not stop learning. And HUEdu has the responsibility to go hand in hand with the whole educational sector to best completed this mission.
Giving a remark at the opening ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Anh Phuong stated that: To implement digital transformation, from 2018 HUEdu was ahead of the trend when developing online teaching and learning software. As the result, when Covid-19 pandemic broke out, the University was not embarrassed in implementing online training. And after two years of implementation, the University gradually improved the software, overcome difficulties and meet the required teaching quality.
Now, the University lecturers, IT staff have enough confidence to cope with the new situation, are willing to share and support school teachers, students in teaching and learning to enhance the quality of online learning, meeting the requirements of education renovation.
The series “Accompanying with online education” is expected to help school teachers in enhancing their skills and gain more knowledge in online teaching, meeting the requirements of the general education innovation.
Accordingly, a series of activities will be produced every week via livestream on fanpage, replay on the Youtube channel, including the following topics:
Topic 1: Apply technology in online teaching, including:
1. Technology in lesson design
2. Technology in managing students
3. Technology in testing and evaluation
4. Technology in organizing games, discussions, and implement projects
5. Safety when using technology in teaching and learning
Topic 2: Active teaching techniques in online teaching
1. Techniques in organizing warm up activities
2. Techniques in organizing activities to form new knowledge
3. Techniques in organizing practice and application activities
Topic 3: Developing University curriculum in the context of online teaching
1. Principles of developing online education plan
2. Online educational content
3. Parents’ companion in implementing school education program
Topic 4: Evaluation techniques in online teaching
The Digital Transformation program of the nation to 2025, with orientation to 2030 was signed and promulgated by the Prime Minister on June 03, 2020. Accordingly, education is the second priority which comes after health sector. That reflects the importance of education and digital transformation in the education sector and in the whole country
Therefore, the positive changes of teachers will play an important role in the development of Vietnamese education.
Hue University of Education will always accompany teachers in this digital transformation.

Hue University of Education organized opening ceremony of a new academic year On September 19, 2019, Hue University of Education jubilantly held the opening ceremony for 2019-2020 academic year and welcomed 617 freshmen. University of Education, Hue University celebrates 10th anniversary of joint training program with National Institute of Applied Sciences Centre Val de Loire, France (INSA Center Val de Loire) On the morning of March 20, University of Education, Hue University, the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Val de Loire (INSA Centre Val de Loire), the Organization of Rencontres du Vietnam (‘Meeting Vietnam’) and the French Institute in Hue celebrated the 10th anniversary of the joint training program with INSA Val de Loire Engineer.
