International School on Computational Commutative Algebra
Taking place from March 20 to 25, 2023, 2023 International School on Computational Commutative Algebra - COCOA 2023 hosted by the University of Education, Hue University attracted the participation of experts, young researchers and students from the UK, USA, Italy, Thailand, Sweden and Vietnam.
COCOA is a computer algebra system that specializes in handling Ideals and modules over rings of multivariable polynomials. The techniques used are mainly based on the theory of Gröbner bases.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Vice Rector of University of Education delivered the opening speech of International School.
Delivered lectures in this year International school are professors from Germany, Italy and Japan, who will provide researchers, students, and students with an overview of contemporary topics in machine algebra and commutative algebra. This allows young researchers to access recent developments in the field as well as to discuss issues of common interest.

This event is not only a forum to approach, learn and practice modern knowledge about computational algebra, but also a place to build and connect relationships, thereby creating cooperation in the community of researchers and practitioners who share a common passion.
