At the meeting, Dr. Le Ho Son – Rector of HUEdu – and other university leaders, expressed their support for the academic exchange activities of Prof. Martin Kreuzer at HUEdu, which will take place from March 09 to April 1, 2026. The University committed to creating favorable conditions for Professor Kreuzer, including providing working office, personnel support, and necessary administrative assistance to facilitate his academic activities at the University.
The University also hoped that, with the connection and collaboration of the Office for Science, Technology and International Cooperation and alumni of Passau University currently working at HUEdu, the two institutions will soon sign an MoU for the collaborative activities. In addition, necessary procedures will be prepared to invite Professor Martin Kreuzer to participate in academic activities at HUEdu as a visiting professor.
Prof. Martin Kreuzer is one of the leading professors at Passau University, Germany, in the field of Applied Mathematics, particularly Algebraic Cryptoanalysis. He is the co-author of the well-known monograph Computational Commutative Algebra, which is widely used in mathematics research and teaching around the world. Through numerous influential research works, he has made significant contributions to the development of algebraic methods in mathematics and computer science.
On the occasion of this visit, Professor Kreuzer also presented two of his well-known books on mathematics and computer science to the University library.
During his stay, in addition to academic exchanges and research collaboration with lecturers and research groups from the Faculty of Mathematics and related faculties, Prof. Martin Kreuzer will also deliver several specialized lectures on Cryptography and Mathematics for lecturers, graduate students, and undergraduate students from the Faculty of Mathematics and other interested faculties.

On the morning of June 5, 2026, Hue University of Education, Hue University, solemnly held the 2026 Graduation and Degree Conferment Ceremony, awarding doctoral degrees to five PhD graduates who successfully completed their doctoral programs and master's degrees to 289 master's graduates, including one new PhD graduate from the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
